Rose and her mom Jackie were rescued from a severe abuse case in North Carolina. Animal control found the bodies of hundreds of goats and some pigs starved to death by the owner who was arrested and brought up on cruelty charges. This was his third time being arrested for similar events in different counties.

Unfortunately farm animals do not have the same strict abuse laws of that of dogs and cats.

Rose is 2 years old and will live out her full life here at the sanctuary with her mom.
