Shrek was rescued from severe neglect at a petting zoo, along with his friend Fiona. When they began to grow, the owners started neglecting them both and let them stand around in filth and feces and didn’t feed them properly. When we first rescued Shrek and Fiona they were in rough shape. Both had bacterial skin and eye infections. We had him neutered and addressed both of their infections. They both healed up wonderfully. 

Shrek is a very happy boy. He loves swimming in our pond and eating pumpkins.
